Studio photography offers great flexibility in lighting and set design. Studio
portrait sessions can be relatively fast, or can require extended periods of time,
depending upon the nature and complexity of the images that are required. A simple
passport photo can often be done in just a few minutes. A more complex session
requiring multiple changes of clothing and differing sets or lighting naturally take
more time.
Studio Portraits
Studio photography has the great benefit of always having good lighting. We are
able to employ numerous lights and lighting control mechanisms to ensure your
portraits have perfect colors, contrast, and detail. This is the true benefit of studio
photography; absolute control of all elements that go into a successful and
stunning portrait.
We offer a variety of muslin and paper backdrops that can be used as non-descript
backgrounds for portraits. In such portraits the focus of lighting (and camera
focus) is on the photographic subject and the background is left to melt into
insignificance. We also employ our flexible lighting systems, posing stools, posing
tables, umbrellas, soft boxes, and numerous props to help ensure your portraits
have interest, charisma, and outstanding composition.
